Haleh Bahrami
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
With over 25 years of leadership experience across the private and public health sectors, Haleh Bahrami is a healthcare transformation executive known for leading complex operational, regulatory, and organizational change initiatives.
Her experience spans large-scale laboratory integration, service redesign, quality and performance improvement, and the delivery of major capital and operational transformation projects in highly regulated environments.
Haleh has built and led high-performing teams, restructured operations, strengthened scorecards and KPI frameworks, and successfully navigated large-scale change under multiple accrediting bodies, including Health Canada, Accreditation Canada, CAP, and DAP. She is also recognized for her ability to build trusted partnerships, lead difficult negotiations, and align people, process, and strategy to improve quality, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Through Praxis Enterprises, Haleh advises healthcare and diagnostic organizations on transformation strategy, operational performance, leadership execution, and service modernization.
Tanya Lawson
Laboratory Operations & Education Advisor
With 25 years of experience as a CSMLS-registered Medical Laboratory Technologist, Tanya Lawson brings deep expertise in virology, molecular diagnostics, laboratory operations, and technical education.
She currently serves as Medical Laboratory Technical Coordinator at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, where she supervises Medical Laboratory Technologists and Assistants and supports high standards of technical practice, quality control, and operational performance.
Tanya also serves as a Program Head and Instructor at a private college, where she teaches and develops curriculum aligned with provincial and national standards. Her experience includes staff supervision, SOP development, validation of new testing, molecular platform oversight, instrument troubleshooting, and accreditation support in both hospital and educational settings.
A BCIT honors graduate and recipient of multiple professional awards, Tanya is recognized for her technical strength, teaching ability, and commitment to quality in complex laboratory environments.
Tanya’s education includes certifications in Laboratory Quality Management from UBC and Instructor Development courses from the National Association of Career Colleges.
She has received multiple awards, such as the AACC Pacific Northwest Travel Grant for attending the 2022 AACC National Conference. Recognized for technical competence and communication skills, Tanya’s diverse experience and commitment to excellence make them a leader and educator in the field.
John McLean
Chief Technology Advisor
John McLean is a technology strategist and enterprise architect with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering complex systems across healthcare, retail, and regulated public sector environments.
As Chief Technology Advisor at Praxis Enterprises, he advises healthcare and diagnostic organizations on digital modernization, enterprise architecture, AI-enabled transformation, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
His experience includes leading AI pilot initiatives for a global healthcare organization, designing enterprise-approved integration architectures across patient management systems, data platforms, and financial workflows, and architecting AI-powered automation solutions at scale. John brings particular depth in secure, compliant system design, including cloud architecture, identity management, data governance, privacy, and production observability.
He is known for translating emerging technologies into practical operational value and for helping organizations build the technical foundations required for sustainable transformation in complex, regulated environments. John holds a BSc in Management and Systems Science from Simon Fraser University.
